The colour of the standard Mimic and Engraving mosaic tiles are light grey or black. The size of the modules are 18x18mm, 24x24mm, 48x48mm.
The reason for the selection of these sizes, together with the large range of standard tiles, is the provision of extremely compact and easily readable mimic diagrams. Edge tiles, same sizes as above, with 10mm overlap. On the front-side all the modules have a fine screen keeping light-reflection to a minimum.

GRIDS

The grid, in which the Mimic and Engraving Services tiles are mounted, are made from polycarbonate with glass filled fibre for strength, connected with interlocking pegs for easy removability, sizes 96x96mm.

TRANSPORT

The grid is designed in such a way that the mosaic panel can be transported quite easily in several separate parts.

ASSEMBLY

Assembly is easily possible on site since the individual supporting elements and the grid are push-fitted into each other and then fixed. After assembly the joints are not visible.The construction of the grids are such that a panoramic form can be assembled (minimum radius: 8m). In this way large mosaic boards can be supervised from a central position with ease.

SIMPLE INSERTION

The self-supporting construction of the grid and the use of edge modules permit fast and easy insertion into panels, supporting frames and desks. All drilled holes and fixing devices are completely covered by the edge modules. Framing with trimming strips is also unnecessary.

MOUNTING EQUIPMENT

By removing tiles, din standard instruments can be mounted. Standard equipment i.e. pushbuttons, pilot lights or L.E.D.'s etc., can be easily mounted.
Edge tiles or T-Sections can be used for the Mimic surround giving you the choice of finish.
